The course was open in 1992 and it is situated just in the Portuguese Algarve Border. It is also proud of its permanent Golf Accademy facilities, actual home of the Winter Stages of the Swedish and Danish PGA and Golf Unions.

Notes: The region already renamed as the "Andalusian Algarve" is separated from Portugal by the Guadiana River and its spectacular bridge and it is only 80 km., by motorway from Faro Airport and 125 km., by motorway from Seville Airport.

Instead of its short history ISLANTILLA has already hosted the most prestigious Golf Events, included the SPANISH PGA, The CHALLENGE TOUR and the TURESPAŅA MASTERS OPEN DE ANDALUCIA, (Volvo European Tours Events).

Rounds: This is one of the most beautiful courses of Andalucia.

Three different 9 holes courses.

Holes 1 to 9, hilly, most holes require blind second shots with the 2nd hole, a par 3 150 m long, where a pond requires a perfect shot from tee. Hole 7, a long par 5 where two perfect shots with wood are required to reach the hole with birdie options.

Holes from 10 to 18 are surrounding hills and it is practically impossible to find stances with the ball in the same level that feet. Hole 12, a par 5 dog leg to the right requires two perfect fade shots to reach green in three.

Holes from 19 to 27 require long drives, with long pars 4, especially hole 27th. Normal west wind complicate a course, difficult by itself.

The links are caracterized by gentle slopes formed by dunes and beautiful landscape with olive trees, orange trees and eucalyptus. In the club house you will find spacious terraces, bar-room and an excellent dinning room with "a la carte" service.
